Tent City- An
annual event held during homecoming at Murray State. Many of the
departments on campus set up tents in order to distribute
information and raise funds. The NTSO Club always sells
popcorn and cotton candy in the tent sponsored by the Center for
Continuing Education and Academic Outreach.
Thanksgiving- We
prepare an annual Thanksgiving potluck in the adult student lounge
and invite the staff who share our building and faculty members who
are interested.
Christmas- We
sponsor an annual Christmas Food Drive to benefit a local family.
Dog Day- At the
end of the spring semester, we sponsor Dog Day in conjunction with
the Center for Continuing Education and Academic Outreach. This is a
day where we provide hot dogs and sodas free to anyone on campus.
