It may now be possible for you to complete your bachelor's degree via the web!

The BIS Program is now available online to students who have completed at least 60 hours of college credit.  In the online program, students will earn a field of study in General Studies.  The Applied Science/Agriculture field of study is also available through a combination of online and other distance learning courses.

Adults find the BIS Program appealing because of its flexible degree requirements and alternative methods of earning additional credits.  Correspondence courses, KET telecourses, and past work experience can also apply to the fulfillment of the degree requirements.    Students must have access to a computer with Internet connection to be able to complete the program.

The online program is offered in cooperation with the Kentucky Community and Technical College System and the Kentucky Virtual University.

This degree program works well for students in established careers who do not need a specific academic credential for a new career, but are looking to complete their bachelors degree.  Gateway graduates are fully qualified to enter graduate programs.  Previous BIS graduates have gone on to complete law school and other graduates programs such as doctorial programs and professional degrees.
