Instructions

To log in to Blackboard:

  1. Click on the Login button.
  2. Type in your Username.
    (the first initial of your first name, your last name, and the last four digits of your SS# with no spaces. For example: jdoe6789)
  3. Type in your Password.
    (The first time you log in, your password will be the last 4 digits of your SS#. For example: 6789. We recommend that you change your password as soon as you log in. )
  4. Click on the Login button.

If you are certain you have correctly entered your username and password but are denied entry to the system, send an email to e.study@murraystate.edu to let us know of the problem, or telephone 270-762-2535 between 8:00AM and 4:30PM (CST or CDST). Please include your username, last 4 digits of your SSN, telephone number where you may be reached, the course number and the error message you are receiving. You will be contacted as quickly as possible with a resolution for your problem. You should also inform your instructor of the problem you have encountered.

Notes You will not have access until the first day of class, January 14, 2002, and only if you have paid for your course.  After that date, you will receive access 24 hours after payment is received.  You can pay for your class with a credit card by accessing RACER-TOUCH at 270-762-3500 or by making payment arrangements with the Bursar's office at 270-762-4226.
