The Foster and Adoptive Parent Support Network

Our network was developed to utilize the skills of foster and adoptive parents in each region.  Each region has a team, which engages in recruitment, retention and support activities for foster and adoptive parents.  Tasks of this program include assisting the Cabinet for Families and Children in retaining existing foster and adoptive homes, recruiting culturally diverse homes throughout the state and supporting parents in times of crisis in the home.  Ultimately, these tasks will assist the Cabinet in reaching its goal of providing safety and permanency to children in Kentucky.
